Vienna, Austria to Bovec is an approximately 4-hour combination of flight, train, and car. You can also drive; or do a combination of train and car. Drive from Bovec to Piran in 2.5 hours. Alternatively, you can take a bus; or take a bus. Expect somewhat warmer temperatures when traveling from Bovec in April; daily highs in Piran reach 21°C and lows reach 9°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 22nd (Sat) early enough to drive to Celje.
