On the 8th (Sat), visit a coastal fixture at Fort Point, then don't miss a visit to Golden Gate Bridge, then take in the spiritual surroundings of Holy Virgin Cathedral, and finally steep yourself in history at Alcatraz Island. On your second day here, walk around Golden Gate Park, take in the pleasant sights at Lombard Street, and then wander the streets of Fisherman's Wharf.
