Bantry — 1 night

Bantry is a town in the civil parish of Kilmocomoge in the barony of Bantry on the coast of West County Cork, Ireland. On the 31st (Sun), take a peaceful walk through Glengariff Woods, identify plant and animal life at Glengarriff Nature Reserve, then see majestic marine mammals with Bantry Bay Charters, and finally don't miss a visit to Kealkill Megalithic Stone Circle and Standing Stones. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the 1st (Mon): admire the natural beauty at Lis Ard Sky Garden Crater, kick back and relax at Owenahincha Beach, and then take a pleasant ride with a tour on horseback.

To find where to stay, photos, more things to do, and other tourist information, you can read our Bantry sightseeing planner.

Dublin to Bantry is an approximately 4-hour car ride. Expect a daytime high around 21°C in July, and nighttime lows around 15°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 1st (Mon) early enough to drive back home.
