Rio de Janeiro, Brazil to Beijing is an approximately 25-hour flight. The time zone difference moving from Brasilia Standard Time to China Standard Time is 11 hours. Traveling from Rio de Janeiro in April, you will find days in Beijing are a bit cooler (26°C), and nights are cooler (9°C). Finish your sightseeing early on the 6th (Thu) so you can fly to Xi'an.

You can fly from Beijing to Xi'an in 4 hours. Other options are to take a train; or drive. April in Xi'an sees daily highs of 26°C and lows of 10°C at night. Cap off your sightseeing on the 8th (Sat) early enough to catch the flight to Shanghai.

Shanghai is known for sightseeing, shopping, and nightlife. You can fly from Xi'an to Shanghai in 4 hours. Alternatively, you can take a train; or drive. Traveling from Xi'an in April, expect a bit warmer with lows of 15°C in Shanghai. Cap off your sightseeing on the 11th (Tue) early enough to catch the flight to Zhangjiajie.

Getting from Shanghai to Zhangjiajie by flight takes about 4 hours. Other options: take a train; or drive. Finish your sightseeing early on the 12th (Wed) to allow enough time to drive to Guilin.

Start off your visit on the 13th (Thu): explore the striking landscape at Elephant Trunk Hill (Xiangbishan), explore the fascinating underground world of Reed Flute Cave (Ludi Yan), and then admire the striking features of Daxu Old Town.

Traveling by car from Zhangjiajie to Guilin takes 6.5 hours. Alternatively, you can fly; or take a train. In April, daytime highs in Guilin are 28°C, while nighttime lows are 19°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 13th (Thu) so you can travel to Shenzhen.

Kick off your visit on the 14th (Fri): don't miss a visit to Shenzhen Saige Plaza, then take in the spiritual surroundings of Shenzhen Mosque, and then look for all kinds of wild species at Futian Nature Reserve.

Traveling by combination of flight and train from Guilin to Shenzhen takes 4.5 hours. Alternatively, you can take a train; or drive. Traveling from Guilin in April, you can expect nighttime temperatures to be somewhat warmer in Shenzhen, with lows of 24°C. Cap off your sightseeing on the 14th (Fri) early enough to go by car to Hong Kong.
