Known as the "Stampede City" thanks to its world-famous annual rodeo, Calgary remains a tale of two cities.

You'll find plenty of places to visit near Calgary: Banff National Park (Sulphur Mountain, Johnston Canyon, &more), Drumheller (Horsethief Canyon & Royal Tyrrell Museum) and Banff (Banff Springs Golf Course, Lake Minnewanka, &more). On the 18th (Fri), spend a day of historical exploration at Heritage Park Historical Village. There's lots more to do: walk around Prince's Island Park, explore and take pictures at Spruce Meadows, get a new perspective on things with Boat Tours & Water Sports, and hike along Bow Glacier Falls.
