Traveling by car from Hersonissos to Ierapetra takes 1.5 hours. Alternatively, you can drive; or take a bus. Traveling from Hersonissos in August, expect somewhat warmer with lows of 29°C in Ierapetra. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 7th (Mon) early enough to drive to Kissamos.
