The largest and most populous city in New Zealand, Auckland combines a rich history and thriving contemporary culture in an abundance of museums, art galleries, and performance venues.
Step out of the city life by going to Piha Beach and Mission Bay Beach. Sculptureum and Auckland Museum are good opportunities to explore the local culture. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Auckland: Warkworth (Pohuehue Waterfalls, Reptile Park, &more) and Brick Bay Sculpture Trail (in Snells Beach). There's much more to do: test your problem-solving skills at popular escape rooms, kick back and relax at St. Helier's Bay, sample some tasty brews at a beer tour and tasting, and visit a coastal fixture at Manukau Heads Lighthouse.

Known as "Hollywood North," Vancouver boasts one of the largest film/television industries in the world, second only to Los Angeles and New York.
