San Diego — 20 nights

America's Finest City

Divided into neighborhoods with distinct characters and cultural heritages, San Diego sits just north of the Mexican border and offers visitors a blend of tourist attractions, including a lively nightlife, diverse cuisine, and a thriving musical scene.
Attractions like San Diego Zoo and Disney California Adventure Park make great kid-friendly stops. Get out of town with these interesting San Diego side-trips: Walt Disney Concert Hall (in Los Angeles), Laguna Beach (Ruth Mayer Gallery & Victoria Beach) and Anaheim (Indiana Jones Adventure, Disneyland Park, &more). Spend the 11th (Tue) exploring the fascinating underwater world at SeaWorld San Diego. The adventure continues: see the interesting displays at USS Midway Museum, explore the wealth of natural beauty at Cabrillo National Monument, meet the residents at California Wolf Center, and let the kids burn off some steam at Balboa Park.

Las Vegas to San Diego is an approximately 3-hour flight. You can also drive; or take a bus. Traveling from Las Vegas in April, expect nights in San Diego to be about the same, around 17°C, while days are slightly colder, around 25°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 29th (Sat) to allow time to fly back home.
