The financial hub of Switzerland, Zurich is most often associated with money and banks.
Visiting Mt Pilatus and Lake Zurich will get you outdoors. Venture out of the city with trips to Astrid-Kapelle (in Kuessnacht am Rigi), Lucerne (Hofkirche, Chapel Bridge, &more) and Rhine Falls (in Neuhausen am Rheinfall). Engelberg offers outdoor activities for a variety of skill levels and remains much less well-known than other Swiss resorts.
On the 16th (Fri), identify plant and animal life at Lake Trubsee, tour the pleasant surroundings at Titlis, and then take in the spiritual surroundings of Kloster Engelberg - Benediktinerabtei. Here are some ideas for day two: stroll through Ski School Active Snow Team Engelberg, then hit the slopes at Melchsee-Frutt, and then hit the slopes at Mythenregion.
