Nicknamed the "Entertainment Capital of the World," Las Vegas sits in the middle of a desert in the southern section of Nevada.
Go for a jaunt from Las Vegas to Boulder City to see Hoover Dam about 50 minutes away. There's much more to do: take in breathtaking views at Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area, head outdoors with Outdoor Activities, get a taste of the local shopping with The Strip, and examine the collection at The Neon Museum.

The time zone difference when traveling from Toronto to Las Vegas is minus 3 hours. Finish your sightseeing early on the 15th (Sat) so you can fly to Los Angeles.

You'll find plenty of places to visit near Los Angeles: Anaheim (Disneyland Park & Disney California Adventure Park) and Santa Monica (26-Mile Bike Path & Bergamot Station). Pack the 16th (Sun) with family-friendly diversions at Universal Studios Hollywood.
