Step out of Chengde to go to Luanping County and see Jinshanling Great Wall, which is approximately 1h 30 min away. And it doesn't end there: contemplate the long history of Imperial Summer Palace of Mountain Resort, take in the spiritual surroundings of Potala Palace (Putuo Zongcheng Temple), get outside with Eight Outer Temples in The Bishu Villa, and take your sightseeing to a higher altitude at Chengde Qingchui Mountain (Hammer Rock).
