Kuala Besut is a mukim in Besut District, Terengganu, Malaysia.It is the departure point for boats to the Perhentian Islands.There are a variety of tour operators that tourist can choose for getting to Perhentian Islands. Venture out of the city with trips to Pantai Irama Bachok (in Bachok) and Kuala Berang (Kenyir Elephant Conservation Village & Kenyir Lake). There's lots more to do: head off the coast to Perhentian Islands, admire the striking features of Masjid Ulul Albab Mosque, see some colorful creatures with a scuba or snorkeling tour, and take a peaceful walk through Lata Belatan Amenity Forest.
