In the Aosta Valley bordering Switzerland and France, the medieval city of Aosta is famous for its prime skiing conditions and rich cultural history.Venture out of the city with trips to Bard (Forte di Bard & Museo Delle Cineprese Beaulieu), Palazzo Borromeo (in Isola Bella) and Castello di Issogne (in Issogne).
