Traveling from Geneva in July, Seoul is somewhat warmer at night with lows of 27°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 27th (Thu) to allow enough time to travel to Gongju.

Gongju, also spelt Kongju, is a city in South Chungcheong province, South Korea.HistoryGongju was formerly named Ungjin and was the capital of Baekje from AD 475 to 538. When traveling from Jeonju in July, plan for little chillier days and about the same nights in Yeosu: temperatures range from 30°C by day to 30°C at night. Cap off your sightseeing on the 2nd (Wed) early enough to go by car to Busan.

You can drive from Yeosu to Busan in 2.5 hours. Alternatively, you can take a bus; or take a train. In August in Busan, expect temperatures between 36°C during the day and 27°C at night. Finish your sightseeing early on the 4th (Fri) to allow enough time to fly to Jeju.

The main town on the largest of Korea's islands, Jeju, has a volcanic landscape protected by UNESCO. The World Heritage-listed volcanic island includes the country's highest peak, sets of impressive lava tubes and columns, and several crater lakes.

Venture out of the city with trips to Seogwipo (Jeongbang Waterfall, Cheonjiyeon Falls, &more). There's lots more to do: enjoy the sand and surf at Hamdeok Beach, Head underground at Manjanggul Cave, head off the coast to Udo, and head outdoors with Gwakji Gwamul Beach.

Fly from Busan to Jeju in 2.5 hours. Alternatively, you can do a combination of car and ferry; or do a combination of train, taxi, and ferry. Finish your sightseeing early on the 8th (Tue) so you can fly to Busan.

Kick off your visit on the 9th (Wed): walk around Yongdusan Park, then kick back and relax at Gwangalli Beach, then kick back and relax at Haeundae Beach, and finally get up close and personal with brilliant marine life at SEA LIFE Busan Aquarium. You can fly from Jeju to Busan in 2.5 hours. Other options are to do a combination of ferry and car; or do a combination of ferry, taxi, and train. Cap off your sightseeing on the 10th (Thu) early enough to go by car to Gyeongju.

One of the most popular tourist destinations in the Republic of Korea, Gyeongju combines a rich cultural heritage with mountain and coastal scenery.

Start off your visit on the 11th (Fri): get engrossed in the history at Shilla Arts and Science Museum, contemplate the long history of Bulguksa Temple, and then appreciate the history behind Seokguram. When traveling from Busan in August, plan for slightly colder days and about the same nights in Gyeongju: temperatures range from 26°C by day to 26°C at night. Finish your sightseeing early on the 12th (Sat) so you can drive to Andong.

Sitting along either side of the Nakdong River, Andong maintains an unrivalled reputation as a center for Korean folk and cultural heritage.

Tourism in Sokcho mostly revolves around the local national park, a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve.

The capital of the country's northernmost province, the city of Chuncheon acts a gateway to the wilder sights of the rural region.

The city of Suwon lies close to the country's capital, and brings in visitors on day trips, mainly to see its old city walls.
