Do some cultural sightseeing at Miniatur Wunderland and Museum of Hamburg History. You'll explore the less-touristy side of things at International Maritime Museum and Museum fur Kunst und Gewerbe. Change things up with these side-trips from Hamburg: Wildpark Luneburger Heide (in Hanstedt), Celle (Brunnen vor der Congress Union, Herzogschloss Celle, &more) and Sankt Peter-Ording (Seebrucke, Sankt Peter Ording Beach, &more). Johannesburg, South Africa to Hamburg is an approximately 16-hour flight.
