One of east Asia's major cultural and financial centers, Seoul boasts five World Heritage Sites and a huge selection of museums, temples, shrines, palaces, parks, gardens, and glass-and-steel skyscrapers.
Get out of town with these interesting Seoul side-trips: Suwon (Suwon Jeil Church, Hwaseong Fortress, &more), DMZ Haemaru Village (in Paju) and Yongin (Korean Folk Village & Everland). Pack the 18th (Sat) with family-friendly diversions at Lotte World.
