Antalya — 3 nights

Offering both sandy beaches packed with modern amenities and a historical town center filled with Roman ruins and Ottoman mosques, Antalya serves as one of the country's major tourist destinations.
Venture out of the city with trips to Side (Ancient Theater & Apollon Temple). There's much more to do: wander the streets of Kaleici, admire the striking features of Iskele Mosque, explore the ancient world of Hadrian's Gate, and admire the sheer force of Lower Duden Waterfalls.

To find more things to do, ratings, photos, and other tourist information, go to the Antalya attractions planner.

Istanbul to Antalya is an approximately 3.5-hour flight. You can also drive; or take a bus. While traveling from Istanbul, expect somewhat warmer days and about the same nights in Antalya, ranging from highs of 19°C to lows of 7°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 30th (Sat) to allow enough time to fly back home.

Antalya Province travel guide

4.1
Beaches · Ruins · Waterfalls
Once a land of ancient cities, Antalya Province lies along the Mediterranean coast and is now home to Turkey's largest international sea resort. Tour the narrow, cobbled streets and historical houses in the province's eponymous city, or pay a visit to the World Heritage Site of Xanthos. Ancient cities and ruins scattered throughout the province give it its historical character. The 657 km (408 mi) long shoreline offers plenty of space to relax along its immaculate beaches and ports. Fill your holiday itinerary with a yacht tour, game of golf, rock climbing, and bird-watching.
