Traveling by car from Las Vegas to Escalante takes 5 hours. Alternatively, you can do a combination of flight and car. Due to the time zone difference, you'll lose 1 hour traveling from Las Vegas to Escalante. Traveling from Las Vegas in October, expect Escalante to be much colder, temps between 19°C and -1°C.
