4 days in Papeete Itinerary

The capital of French Polynesia, Pape'ete amounts to little more than a medium-sized town by Western standards, but it is still a thriving hub of culture and commerce.

Venture out of the city with trips to Moana Pearls (in Paopao), Afareaitu Waterfalls (in Afareaitu) and The Water Gardens of Vaipahi (in Taravao). There's still lots to do: gain a rich perspective with Unique Tahiti, take an in-depth tour of Museum of Tahiti and the Islands, meet the residents at Lagoonarium, and enjoy the sand and surf at Temae Beach.
