On the 3rd (Mon), get a taste of the local shopping with The San Antonio River Walk, get engrossed in the history at The Alamo, then examine the collection at The Buckhorn Saloon and Texas Ranger Museum, then admire the architecture and history at Mission San Jose, and finally let the kids burn off some steam at Brackenridge Park.

Getting from San Diego to San Antonio by flight takes about 4.5 hours. Other options: drive; or take a bus.
