Stowe bustles in winter when skiers and snowboarders flock here to challenge themselves on the long, steep trails careening down Vermont's tallest peak, Mt.Start off your visit on the 19th (Sun): trek along Stowe Recreation Path, hit the slopes at Stowe Mountain Resort, then fly down the slopes at Trapp Family Lodge Outdoor Center, and finally look for gifts at The Country Store on Main. The Green Mountain State
