City of Light

Step out of the city life by going to Île de la Cité and Arboretum de la Vallee-aux-Loups. Louvre Museum and Centre National d'Art et de Culture George Pompidou will appeal to museum buffs. Get out of town with these interesting Paris side-trips: Fondation Claude Monet (in Giverny), Musee de l’Outil - Collection Claude et Francoise Pigeard (in Wy-dit-Joli-Village) and The Hall of Mirrors (in Versailles). There's lots more to do: admire the striking features of Arc de Triomphe, explore and take pictures at Eiffel Tower, examine the collection at Musee Rodin, and wander the streets of Montmartre.

Cairo, Egypt to Paris is an approximately 7.5-hour flight. You can also drive; or do a combination of car and train. Due to the time zone difference, you'll gain 1 hour traveling from Cairo to Paris. In April, Paris is much colder than Cairo - with highs of 18°C and lows of 6°C. On the 3rd (Wed), you'll have the morning to explore before heading off to Nice.

Visit Castel Plage and Palmes Beach for some beach relaxation. Escape the urban bustle at Lérins Islands and Eze-sur-Mer Beach. Fly from Paris to Nice in 3 hours. Alternatively, you can take a train; or drive. Traveling from Paris in May, plan for a bit warmer nights in Nice, with lows around 16°C. Cap off your sightseeing on the 25th (Thu) early enough to catch the flight to Nantes.
