Take a trip to Abu Dhabi to discover a modern metropolis built on a strip of land jutting out into the Persian Gulf.

You can drive from Abu Dhabi to Dubai in 1.5 hours. Alternatively, you can do a combination of bus and subway; or fly. In January, daily temperatures in Dubai can reach 28°C, while at night they dip to 19°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 28th (Tue) to allow time to drive back home.
