The most popular resort in Slovenia, Bled is marked by its iconic church steeple and medieval castle on glacial Lake Bled.
On the 1st (Sun), get all the information you need at Tourist Information Centre – Kranj House, make a trip to Tunnels Under Old Kranj, step into the grandiose world of Bled Castle, then step off the mainland to explore Bled Island, then tour the pleasant surroundings at Mala Osojnica, and finally take some stellar pictures from Straža Bled. Keep things going the next day: pause for some serene contemplation at Church of St. Nicholas, then take in the awesome beauty at Vogel, then contemplate the waterfront views at Lake Bohinj, and finally browse for gifts or souvenirs at Galerija Mikame.

Milan, Italy to Bled is an approximately 5-hour combination of flight and shuttle. You can also drive; or take a train. Traveling from Milan in January, expect Bled to be a bit cooler, temps between 4°C and -5°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 2nd (Mon) to allow enough time to drive to Ljubljana.
