If you are flying in from Malaysia, the closest major aiport is Da Nang International Airport. In August, plan for daily highs up to 40°C, and evening lows to 30°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 10th (Thu) to allow enough time to drive to Hoi An.

You can drive from Da Nang to Hoi An in an hour. Other options are to drive; or take a bus. In August, plan for daily highs up to 40°C, and evening lows to 30°C. You'll have a few hours on the 12th (Sat) to wrap things up before traveling to Da Nang.

Getting from Hoi An to Da Nang by car takes about an hour. Other options: drive; or take a bus. You will have some time to spend on the 14th (Mon) before leaving for home.
