The third-largest city in the country, Incheon combines history and culture in an interesting whole.
Kick off your visit on the 30th (Fri): take an in-depth tour of Jjajangmyeon Museum, head outdoors with Hanagae Beach, and then snap pictures at Incheon Bridge. On your second day here, enjoy the sand and surf at Wangsan Beach and then get engrossed in the history at Incheon Metropolictan City Museum.

Expect a daytime high around 3°C in December, and nighttime lows around -3°C. Cap off your sightseeing on the 1st (Sun) early enough to go by car to Seoul.

One of east Asia's major cultural and financial centers, Seoul boasts five World Heritage Sites and a huge selection of museums, temples, shrines, palaces, parks, gardens, and glass-and-steel skyscrapers.
Seochon Sejong Maeul Alley and National Palace Museum of Korea are good opportunities to explore the local culture. Eschew the tourist crowds and head to 3D Black Art Museum and The Garden of Morning Calm. Next up on the itinerary: explore the world behind art at National Folk Museum of Korea, take in panoramic vistas at Seoul City Wall, contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Seoul Central Mosque, and see the interesting displays at National Gugak Center.
