5 days in Miami, Tampa & Orlando Itinerary

Kick off your visit on the 17th (Thu): get a taste of the local shopping with Espanola Way, buy something for everyone on your list at Lincoln Road, and then kick back and relax at Miami Beach & Boardwalk. Detroit to Miami is an approximately 4.5-hour flight. You can also drive; or do a combination of bus and subway. Plan for somewhat warmer temperatures traveling from Detroit in August, with highs in Miami at 38°C and lows at 30°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 18th (Fri) early enough to fly to Tampa.
