Rome — 4 nights

Eternal City
Aptly nicknamed the Eternal City, Rome is the birthplace of the Roman Empire, one of the world's greatest civilizations ever.Colosseum and Vatican Museums are good opportunities to explore the local culture. Deepen your sense of the past at sights like Pantheon and Palatine Hill. Venture out of the city with trips to Tivoli (Villa Adriana & Villa d'Este). There's still lots to do: contemplate the long history of St. Peter's Basilica, browse the eclectic array of goods at Porta Portese, don't miss a visit to Roman Forum, and wander the streets of Via Condotti.
