Vienna, Austria to Koper is an approximately 5-hour car ride. Expect a daytime high around 35°C in July, and nighttime lows around 20°C. Cap off your sightseeing on the 26th (Tue) early enough to go by car to Tolmin.

Start off your visit on the 27th (Wed): contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Memorial Church of the Holy Spirit, contemplate the long history of Outdoor Museum Kolovrat (muzej na prostem), and then take in the dramatic natural features at Tolmin Gorge.

Drive from Koper to Tolmin in 2 hours. Alternatively, you can drive; or take a bus; or take a train. In July in Tolmin, expect temperatures between 35°C during the day and 20°C at night. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 27th (Wed) so you can go by car to Kobarid.

Kick off your visit on the 28th (Thu): add some adventure to your tour with a kayaking and canoeing tour, take in the dramatic scenery at Kozjak Waterfall, and then examine the collection at Kobarid Museum.

Kobarid is very close to Tolmin. Traveling from Tolmin in July, things will get a bit cooler in Kobarid: highs are around 29°C and lows about 15°C. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 28th (Thu) so you can go by car to Bovec.

Kick off your visit on the 29th (Fri): kick your exploration up a notch at some of the top local zipline courses and adventure parks and then take in breathtaking views at Virje Waterfall.
