5 days in Taipei Itinerary

Situated in a basin between two mountain ranges, Taipei appeals to tourists with its blend of Asian cultures, living side by side amidst Japanese-era mansions and Taoist temples.

Venture out of the city with trips to Chiufen (Jiufen Old Street) (in Ruifang) and YehLiu Geopark (in Wanli). Spend the 27th (Mon) exploring nature at Yangmingshan National Park. There's lots more to do: get engrossed in the history at National Palace Museum, take a stroll through Ximending, make a trip to Elephant Mountain (aka Nangang District Hiking Trail), and contemplate the long history of U-mkt.
