The Dalles — 4 nights

The Dalles is the county seat and largest city of Wasco County, Oregon, United States. Get in touch with nature at Little Zigzag Falls and Mt. Hood Meadows. Discover out-of-the-way places like National Neon Sign Museum and Tom McCall Nature Preserve. Change things up with these side-trips from The Dalles: Mt. Hood Adventure Park at Skibowl (in Government Camp), Wildwood Recreation Site (in Welches) and Jonsrud Viewpoint (in Sandy). There's still lots to do: make a trip to Old St. Peter's Landmark, immerse yourself in nature at Starvation Creek State Park, learn about winemaking at Sunshine Mill Winery, and shop like a local with Art on Oak.
