Take a trip to Abu Dhabi to discover a modern metropolis built on a strip of land jutting out into the Persian Gulf.On the 4th (Sun), contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque and then get in on the family fun at Ferrari World Abu Dhabi. On the next day, browse the different shops at Marina Mall, then steep yourself in history at Heritage Village, then go for a walk through The Corniche, and finally steep yourself in history at Qasr Al Hosn.

You can drive from Dubai to Abu Dhabi in 1.5 hours. Other options are to do a combination of subway and bus; or fly. Expect a daytime high around 30°C in December, and nighttime lows around 20°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 5th (Mon) to allow enough time to drive back home.
