Emerald City
Nicknamed the "Emerald City" because of its abundant evergreen trees, Seattle is the cultural and business center of the Pacific Northwest, as well as a popular holiday destination.Dedicate the 30th (Tue) to wine at some of the top wineries in the area. There's much more to do: don't miss a visit to Space Needle, take in nature's colorful creations at Bellevue Botanical Garden, walk around Discovery Park, and take a leisurely stroll along Hiram M. Chittenden Locks.
