Dolceacqua is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Imperia in the Italian region Liguria, located about 120km southwest of Genoa and about 35km west of Imperia, on the border with France. Your inner history buff will appreciate Chiesa Parrocchiale di Elva and Forte Albertino. Take a break from the city and head to L'Anciua Spiaggia e Bar and Bagni Bassamarea. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Dolceacqua: Museo Diocesano e Battistero Paleocristiano (in Albenga), Colla Micheri Medieval Village (in Laigueglia) and Santuario di San Magno (in Castelmagno).
