6 days in Lijiang & Dali Itinerary

Take a break from the city and head to Tiger Leaping Gorge (Hutiao Xia) and Lijiang Guides - Day Tours. Kunming to Lijiang is an approximately 2.5-hour flight. You can also fly; or take a train; or drive. Finish your sightseeing early on the 18th (Wed) so you can drive to Dali.

On the 19th (Thu), wander the streets of Dali Ancient, then take your sightseeing to a higher altitude at Mt.Cangshan and Erhai Lake Scenic Resort, and then see human ingenuity at work at Huadian Dam. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the next day: don't miss a visit to Dali Foreigner Street and then take in the exciting artwork at Da Li Shi Kong Guo Shi Museum.

Traveling by car from Lijiang to Dali takes 2.5 hours. Alternatively, you can drive; or take a train; or take a bus. Cap off your sightseeing on the 20th (Fri) early enough to catch the flight back home.
