Stunning Garden of the Gods Park scenery, blue skies and the glory of Pikes Peak-America’s Mountain have attracted visitors to Colorado Springs for more than a century.
Attractions like Garden of the Gods and United States Air Force Academy make great kid-friendly stops. Next up on the itinerary: meet the residents at Cheyenne Mountain Zoo, get engrossed in the history at U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Museum, see the sights as you ascend with a climbing tour, and view the masterpieces at Commonwheel Artists Co-op.

Finish up your sightseeing early on the 25th (Mon) so you can go by car to Woodland Park.

Climate Capital of Colorado

Part of Colorado's Royal Gorge Region, Cañon City straddles the Arkansas River.
Start off your visit on the 28th (Thu): let the river carry you with a rafting and tubing tour and then take in the views from Royal Gorge Bridge and Park.
