The most populous city in the state after New York, Buffalo serves as the gateway to Niagara Falls and Canada for many travelers.
You'll visit kid-friendly attractions like Cave of the Winds and Devil's Hole State Park. You'll get in some beach time at Times Beach Preserve and Woodlawn Beach State Park. Venture out of the city with trips to Niagara Power Project Visitors Center (in Lewiston), Niagara Falls (Niagara Gorge Trail, Whirlpool State Park, &more) and Sanger Farms (in Youngstown). Plan for a day of cool, family-friendly fun on the 13th (Tue) at Waldameer & Water World. There's much more to do: observe the fascinating underwater world at Aquarium of Niagara, explore the engaging exhibits at The Strong National Museum of Play, stroll the grounds of Forest Lawn, and steep yourself in history at Theodore Roosevelt Inaugural National Historic Site.

Orlando to Buffalo is an approximately 4.5-hour flight. You can also drive; or take a train. Traveling from Orlando in June, things will get little chillier in Buffalo: highs are around 76°F and lows about 58°F. Finish your sightseeing early on the 14th (Wed) to allow enough time to drive to Cleveland.

You can drive from Buffalo to Cleveland in 3.5 hours. Other options are to take a train; or take a bus. Traveling from Buffalo in June, Cleveland is a bit warmer at night with lows of 64°F. On the 15th (Sat), wrap the sightseeing up by early afternoon so you can drive to Pittsburgh.

Known primarily for its steel-related heritage and 446 bridges, Pittsburgh sits at the confluence of the Monongahela and Allegheny Rivers, which meet to form the Ohio River.
