You'll lose 1 hour traveling from Dusseldorf to Beirut due to the time zone difference. Traveling from Dusseldorf in January, expect nights in Beirut to be a bit warmer, around 13°C, while days are much warmer, around 21°C. Cap off your sightseeing on the 16th (Thu) early enough to go by car to Bcharre.

Baalbek, properly Baʿalbek and also known as Balbec, Baalbec or Baalbeck, is a town in the Anti-Lebanon foothills east of the Litani River in Lebanon's Beqaa Valley, about 85km northeast of Beirut and about 75km north of Damascus. Venture out of the city with trips to Kamouh el Hermel (in Hermel) and Chateau Rayak (in Riyaq).
