Founded in 1535 by Spanish explorer Francisco Pizarro, Lima represents an interesting blend of modern attractions and preserved colonial architecture, much of it clustered in the World Heritage-listed city center.

Bengaluru, India to Lima is an approximately 30-hour flight. Traveling from Bengaluru to Lima, you'll gain 10.5 hours due to the time zone difference. When traveling from Bengaluru in November, plan for little chillier days and about the same nights in Lima: temperatures range from 26°C by day to 20°C at night. Cap off your sightseeing on the 11th (Sat) early enough to go by car to San Pedro.

You can drive from San Pedro to Cusco in 2.5 hours. In December in Cusco, expect temperatures between 24°C during the day and 9°C at night. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 27th (Mon) so you can catch the shuttle to Ollantaytambo.
