Nicknamed "the Rising Emirate," Ras Al Khaimah may be an unfamiliar name to many tourists, but has been tipped as the next Dubai thanks to its steady development (along with the rest of the U.A.E.) of luxury resorts, retail districts, and shopping malls.
Kids will enjoy Wadi Bih and Yas Tours. When in Ras Al Khaimah, make a side trip to see Dreamland Aqua Park in Umm Al Quwain, approximately Umm Al Quwain away. The adventure continues: take in the awesome beauty at Jabal Bil Ays, see some colorful creatures with a scuba or snorkeling tour, see the interesting displays at Rak Natures Treasures, and cool off at Ice Land Water Park.

Traveling from Dubai in March, expect a bit cooler with lows of 19°C in Ras Al Khaimah. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 17th (Fri) so you can go by car to Dibba Al Fujairah.
