7 days in Cairo, Aswan & Luxor Itinerary

Traveling by flight from Cairo to Aswan takes 3 hours. Alternatively, you can drive; or take a train. Traveling from Cairo in October, you will find days in Aswan are a bit warmer (42°C), and nights are about the same (26°C). Finish your sightseeing early on the 26th (Thu) to allow enough time to drive to Luxor.

You can drive from Aswan to Luxor in 3.5 hours. Alternatively, you can take a train. In October in Luxor, expect temperatures between 41°C during the day and 23°C at night. You'll set off for home on the 28th (Sat).
