Traveling from Valletta in April, Hersonissos is a bit cooler at night with lows of 11°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 6th (Thu) so you can drive to Rethymnon.

You can drive from Hersonissos to Rethymnon in 1.5 hours. Alternatively, you can drive; or take a shuttle; or take a bus. In April in Rethymnon, expect temperatures between 24°C during the day and 14°C at night. Cap off your sightseeing on the 10th (Mon) early enough to catch the flight back home.
