Famous for its original medieval district, Tours is famous for its cafes that serve regional wines and interesting architectural bridges crossing the river Loire.

Venture out of the city with trips to Chambord (Domaine National de Chambord, Chateau de Chambord, &more), Chateau Royal de Blois (in Blois) and Amboise (Chateau Royal d'Amboise, Le Chateau du Clos Luce - Parc Leonardo da Vinci, &more). Oslo, Norway to Tours is an approximately 7.5-hour combination of flight and train. You can also drive; or do a combination of bus and train. Prepare for a bit warmer weather when traveling from Oslo in April: high temperatures in Tours hover around 19°C and lows are around 7°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 11th (Tue) to allow enough time to drive to Angers.

Drive from Tours to Angers in 1.5 hours. Alternatively, you can take a bus; or take a train. In April, plan for daily highs up to 20°C, and evening lows to 7°C. Wrap up your sightseeing by early afternoon on the 14th (Fri) to allow enough time to travel back home.
