Southport — 1 night

Southport is a city in Brunswick County, North Carolina, United States, near the mouth of the Cape Fear River. On the 21st (Sun), take a leisurely stroll along Southport Pier and RIverwalk, then stop by Bullfrog Corner, then steep yourself in history at Fort Fisher State Recreation Area, and finally examine the collection at Old Brunswick County Jail Museum. Here are some ideas for day two: get outside with Outdoor Activities and then enjoy the sand and surf at Holden Beach.
