One of east Asia's major cultural and financial centers, Seoul boasts five World Heritage Sites and a huge selection of museums, temples, shrines, palaces, parks, gardens, and glass-and-steel skyscrapers.
Kids will appreciate attractions like Gyeongbokgung Palace and Lotte World. There's lots more to do: make a trip to Insadong, wander the streets of Bukchon Hanok Village, get a taste of the local shopping with Namdaemun Market, and take some stellar pictures from N Seoul Tower.

Singapore, Singapore to Seoul is an approximately 9.5-hour flight. You can also drive. Due to the time zone difference, you'll lose 1 hour traveling from Singapore to Seoul. Traveling from Singapore in January, things will get much colder in Seoul: highs are around 1°C and lows about -7°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 23rd (Mon) so you can fly to Busan.

Busan — 2 nights

The country's second city, Busan has often been referred to as South Korea's summer capital.
On the 24th (Tue), contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Haedong Yonggungsa, get outside with Haeundae Beach, then enjoy the sand and surf at Gwangalli Beach, and finally walk around Yongdusan Park. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the 25th (Wed): observe the fascinating underwater world at SEA LIFE Busan Aquarium and then indulge in some personalized pampering at some of the best spas.

Getting from Seoul to Busan by flight takes about 2.5 hours. Other options: take a train; or drive. Prepare for a bit warmer weather when traveling from Seoul in January: high temperatures in Busan hover around 7°C and lows are around -3°C. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 25th (Wed) so you can catch the flight back home.
