Muscat, Oman to Blaskogabyggd is an approximately 17-hour flight. The time zone changes from Gulf Standard Time to Greenwich Mean Time, which is usually a -4 hour difference. Plan for much colder temperatures traveling from Muscat in April, with highs in Blaskogabyggd at 7°C and lows at 0°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 3rd (Mon) to allow enough time to drive to Vik.

Kick off your visit on the 4th (Tue): look for gifts at Wool Gallery Vik i Myrdal, enjoy the sand and surf at Black Sand Beach, then kick back and relax at Reynisfjara Beach, and finally admire the sheer force of Skogafoss.

Traveling by car from Blaskogabyggd to Vik takes 2.5 hours. Alternatively, you can do a combination of taxi and bus. In April in Vik, expect temperatures between 6°C during the day and 3°C at night. Cap off your sightseeing on the 4th (Tue) early enough to go by car to Reykjavik.

Head to National Museum of Iceland and Laugavegurfor some retail therapy. Take a break from the city and head to Thingvellir National Park and Horseback Riding Tours. Change things up with a short trip to Blue Lagoon in Grindavik (about 46 minutes away). Traveling by car from Vik to Reykjavik takes 2.5 hours. Alternatively, you can drive; or take a bus. Traveling from Vik in April, expect slightly colder with lows of 0°C in Reykjavik. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 8th (Sat) so you can catch the flight back home.
