7 days in Taipei, Taichung & Ren'ai Township Itinerary

Situated in a basin between two mountain ranges, Taipei appeals to tourists with its blend of Asian cultures, living side by side amidst Japanese-era mansions and Taoist temples.

Singapore, Singapore to Taipei is an approximately 8-hour flight. You can also do a combination of car and ferry. In November, Taipei is a bit cooler than Singapore - with highs of 29°C and lows of 22°C. On the 28th (Mon), you're off to Taichung.

Known for its good weather, Taichung boasts an interesting set of cultural attractions, including many temples showing the development of religious architectural styles in the area and forming focal points for most tours of Taichung.

Getting from Taipei to Taichung by train takes about 1.5 hours. Other options: drive; or take a bus. In November in Taichung, expect temperatures between 30°C during the day and 20°C at night. You'll have a few hours on the 29th (Tue) to wrap things up before traveling to Ren'ai Township.

Drive from Taichung to Ren'ai Township in 1.5 hours. Alternatively, you can take a bus; or take a bus. In November, plan for daily highs up to 30°C, and evening lows to 20°C. You'll have a few hours on the 30th (Wed) to wrap things up before traveling to Taichung.

On the 30th (Wed), get curious at National Museum of Natural Science.

Drive from Ren'ai Township to Taichung in 1.5 hours. Alternatively, you can take a bus; or take a bus. Finish your sightseeing early on the 30th (Wed) to allow enough time to take a train to Taipei.
