Kentucky’s largest city, Louisville, is best known as the home of the Kentucky Derby.
On the 16th (Thu), get engrossed in the history at Vintage Fire Museum, explore the fascinating underground world of Louisville Mega Cavern, and then gain some tasty knowledge on a distillery tour.

Just a short drive from the national park protecting the diverse plant and animal life of the Great Smoky Mountains, the town features numerous places to visit, such as bars, restaurants, cafes, theaters, and shops.
Kick off your visit on the 17th (Fri): do a tasting at Mill Bridge Winery. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the 18th (Sat): sample the fine beverages at Ole Smoky Tennessee Moonshine, learn about winemaking at Hillside Winery, then get up close and personal with brilliant marine life at Ripley's Aquarium of the Smokies, and finally learn about winemaking at Tennessee Cider Company.

Getting from Louisville to Pigeon Forge by car takes about 5 hours. Other options: fly; or do a combination of bus, subway, and car.
