Way out west, the small city of Dwarka has a long history of pilgrimage, as a place central to Hindu mythology and belief.
Start off your visit on the 9th (Tue): make a trip to Shri Swaminarayan Mandir, Dwarka, don't miss a visit to Shree Dwarkadhish Temple, and then visit a coastal fixture at Dwarka Lighthouse. On your second day here, take in the spiritual surroundings of Rukmini Devi temple, then take in the spiritual surroundings of Rukshamanee Mandir, and then contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Nageshwar Jyotirlinga Temple.

Pune to Dwarka is an approximately 10-hour combination of flight and taxi. You can also drive; or take a train. Finish your sightseeing early on the 10th (Wed) to allow enough time to fly to Ahmedabad.

Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the 12th (Fri): take a leisurely stroll along Sabarmati Riverfront, then steep yourself in history at Gandhi Ashram, and then take in the spiritual surroundings of Sola Mandir Bhagwat Vidyapith.
