You might not think it looking at the white sand beaches lining the Atlantic coast and the lakes, but there's plenty more to an Araruama holiday besides sunbathing.Explore Araruama's surroundings by going to Saquarema (Vilatur Beach, Vila Beach, &more), Marica (Itaipuacu Beach & Ponta Negra Beach) and REGUA - Reserva Ecologica de Guapiacu (in Cachoeiras de Macacu). The adventure continues: stroll through Seca Beach, kick back and relax at Sudoeste Beach, explore the venue of Casa de Cultura Jose Geraldo Cau, and pause for some serene contemplation at Paroquia Sao Sebastiao.
